We Warmly Welcome You To Avalon Manor Motels In Motueka

And hope you enjoy your stay. By booking/staying with us you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, which are listed below.

Check in time: Between 2pm and 9pm on your day of arrival.
Check out time: Before 10am on the day of departure.
Should you require an early/late check in or a late check out please contact us before your stay and we will try to accommodate your requirements, but please appreciate this may not always be possible, especially during peak periods.
Reservations Age: You must be 18 years or over to book accommodation. Persons under the age of 18 may not occupy a unit on their own unless accompanied by parents or legal guardian staying in a separate unit that have given permission and accept full and final responsibility/liability.
Securing Bookings: A valid credit card, which you are authorised to use, is required to secure your booking.
Payment: Credit card details are required to secure your booking. We reserve the right to pre-authorise the card to ensure validity and availability of funds, and to charge the credit card with the total cost of the booking within 48 hours of arrival.
Extra Person: Our room rates are for 2 adults. Please let us know the total number of people (including children and babies) when you book. We charge an additional $20.00 per person 2 years old and over, per night for any extra guest(s) staying. Different rooms have different allowable occupancy rates due to safety and fire regulations and these numbers are strictly adhered to. So to avoid disappointment, please ensure you let us know the correct number of people staying.

Cancellation Policy: We are a small, family run business and cancellations affect not only us, but other potential guests. We appreciate that sometimes situations change that may affect your booking and encourage you to have travel insurance to cover you in these instances.
We require cancellations to be made 48 hours prior to 2pm of the day of arrival. Bookings not cancelled by this time will be charged the full booking total, to the securing credit card or account.
No shows: Will incur the full booking charge, we'd much prefer you let us know please.
Multi-night stay reductions: If you have to cut short your multi-night stay and don't let us know within our cancellation period you will be charged the full rate.
Refunds: Please note that refunds will only be made to the credit card used at the time of booking.

Right Of Admission: Avalon Manor Motels reserve the right of admission to the motel and its grounds.
Behaviour: We want everyone to enjoy their stay at our motels. Should you, or a member of your booked group, or a guest cause a disturbance during your stay, we have the right to require you to leave without providing a refund.
Noise: Please be considerate to fellow guests & keep noise down, particularly between 9.00pm & 8.00am.
Smoking & Vaping: Smoking and vaping are only permitted outside the units please. In consideration of other guests please smoke or vape away from other guests (especially children) and units & use the provided ashtrays. Please ensure your doors and windows are closed. In the event of someone smoking or vaping in a room we may engage a specialist cleaning company and reserve the right to charge costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.
Strong Smelling Food & Portable Cooking Appliances: In consideration to subsequent guests the cooking of strong smelling foods is not permitted please. The use of portable cooking appliances are not permitted on motel grounds.
Damage: We understand that accidents can happen and we'd appreciate you letting us know immediately if a breakage or spillage occurs. This enables us to attend to this immediately to minimise long term damage and potential claim for costs. We reserve the right to charge the registered guest for all costs (and/or loss of income) caused by a negligent, deliberate or reckless act.

Visitors: Your visitors are welcome. In consideration to fellow guests, visitors are required to vacate the motel complex by 9pm. Parties are not permitted. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property.

WiFi: Guests accept to use WiFi access fairly, lawfully, and appropriately. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported.

Luggage Storage: We are happy to store luggage if required, this is at the owners risk.

Pets: We're sorry, but pets are not allowed.

Personal Items/Car Parking: Complimentary car parking for one car is available with your room however, we are not responsible for your vehicle, or any of your personal items if they go missing, are damaged, or stolen while on the property.

Lost Property: Should we find any lost property left behind by guests during their stay we will hold it for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners at the owner's cost, we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items or related costs. Perishable items that are left behind will be disposed of immediately.

Group Bookings: A booking of 3 or more units is termed a group booking. We reserve the right to accept group bookings or not to check in any group we believe may be disruptive to other guests. All our terms, conditions and rules apply to group bookings

General: Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information, Avalon Manor Motel does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information and descriptions of products in the motel.

Jurisdiction: All terms and related issues or disputes connected with the use of our website, booking engine, and/or or your stay at Avalon Manor Motel will be governed by New Zealand laws.

Force Majeure: Avalon Manor Motel will not be in any breach of this agreement or in any way liable, if it is prevented from complying with the supply of accommodation and other related services by reason of Act of God, Act of Public Enemy, War, Earthquake, Riot, Fire, Storm, Flood, Explosion, Compliance with any Law of Government Restraint Order, Rule Regulations, Strikes, Lock Outs or any other cause not reasonably within the control of the property.
